T&D (Dr Tom Marshall and Darcy, my doggie, that’s her to the left) Copy-Editing is an independent copy-editing and proof-reading service. We edit academic manuscripts, for example, journal articles, book chapters, monographs, edited volumes and postgraduate theses. Our work also covers copy-editing and proof-reading of charity and corporate reports.
Unlike many other copy-editing services that I know of, T&D Copy-Editing offer a FREE pre- or post-editing one-to-one consultation, where an author(s) can guide us on the tone, style, focus and other considerations that they want us to bear in mind while their work is edited.

You’ve done the research, planned, written and rewritten your work (how many times?). Do you find that when your work is near completion, the time and effort that you have invested in it can make you quite immune to spotting errors? Think of T&D Copy-Editing and proof-reading as a fresh pair of eyes (well, mostly a pair of eyes, as the vision in my left eye is useless), which is how we can help!
Importantly, T&D WILL NOT run your work through AI! It is an author’s decision whether to use AI or not. We do not! At T&D Copy-Editing, we believe that AI has its uses, but not as a substitute for human creativity. AI can be bad for the environment and bad for the creative mind - really bad! See more about our AI policy.
Please browse our website for more information about us and our work. Oh, and have a look at our Pricing and turnaround times, it’s very clear, so no guessing about that. You can contact us via the form below or on our Contacts page.
