The Small Print
Services are provided via a contract between you and T&D Copy-Editing.
By signing the Commissioning Sheet, you agree to pay the quoted fee.
Our service applies to your submitted manuscript, and revised manuscripts cannot be accepted.
Payments are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT.
The amount quoted on your invoice must be paid in FULL by the due date as per the client’s invoice.
Work will begin on your document but will not be returned if payment is not received by the due date as per your invoice.
Once a manuscript has been submitted, it can be withdrawn by emailing T&D Copy-editing (Tom@tanddcopyediting.com) within 36 hours. The full quoted fee will be charged if a manuscript is withdrawn after the 36-hour withdrawal time period.
International payment transaction fees are the responsibility of the author(s) submitting a manuscript for copy-editing.
Failure to pay T&D Copy-editing in full and on time will result in a 10% additional fee for each week of delayed payment.
T&D Copy-editing cannot guarantee returning error-free manuscripts, the author (client) accepts final responsibility and liability for any errors in their work and will not hold T&D Copy-Editing responsible for the same.
Fees may change if a submitted manuscript deviates from an author’s or authors’ original word count on which the original fee was based.
You agree that the submitted material(s) is your original work and is not submitted on behalf of another author or is another author’s or authors’ work, in part or in whole (except citations and paraphrasing, of course). You agree to take full responsibility for any and all plagiarism and will not hold T&D Copy-Editing responsible for this.
If applicable, you take full responsibility to comply with your institution’s or organisation’s policies on outsourcing work for independent copy-editing.
You are prohibited from disclosing or publishing T&D Copy edits of your document(s).
T&D Copy-editing are not responsible for delays to our services outside our reasonable control.
We will not disclose your submitted materials, and all submissions will be treated confidentially.

T&D Copy-editing reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions under which a submission for copy-editing has been made will apply.
Prices are subject to change. The price you have been quoted will be honoured.
T&D Copy-editing are not liable to provide our service due to events outside our control, and we will inform all relevant parties should this arise.
These terms and conditions are governed by, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Northern Ireland, England and Wales.
